The Comunitat Valenciana will be member of the Steering Committee of the European Platform S3 for Industrial Modernization
The Director General of IVACE, Júlia Company, participates in the meeting of this European interregional collaboration group.
The Comunitat Valenciana, through the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) has been elected member of the Steering Committee of the European Platform for Industrial Modernization (S3P-Industrial Modernization) created by the European Commission and co-leader of the working groups on "Industry 4.0 and SME" and "Innovative Textiles".
The Director General of the IVACE, Júlia Company, participated in the first meeting of the Management Committee of this platform in Brussels on March 17th together with its European counterparts.
The European Platform for Industrial Modernization (S3P) aims to provide a common instrument and support the efforts of the regions of the European Union committed to work together to develop investment projects related to their RIS3 priority areas in industrial modernization.
To this end, eight working groups are planned to address issues such as energy applications, bio-economics, efficient and sustainable companies, nano-products, industry 4.0, and innovative textiles, among others.
Both IVACE and the other European regions participating in the "Industry 4.0 and SMEs" working group are establishing different future collaboration actions. These include the development of joint strategies, the launching of a common platform open to other European regions, as well as the preparation of lines of collaboration in which innovative technology centers and clusters of the participating regions could be involved.
