The Regional Ministry of Education announces aid for the acquisition of R&D&I infrastructures and equipment

The Regional Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sport has published in the 'Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana' the call for grants for the acquisition of R&D&I infrastructures and equipment for Valencian public universities and public research consortia attached to the Generalitat for the period 2018-2020.
This aid is part of the Operational Programme of the European Regional Development Fund for Valencia 2014-2020 (ERDF OP CV), which has as its priority the promotion of research, technological development and innovation.
The amount allocated to this call for proposals is 8 500 000 euros for the 2018 financial year, 15% more than the amount allocated to this aid in 2017.
The novelty of this call for proposals is that it is a multiannual call and the period of implementation of the activity covered by this grant is from 1 January 2018 to 31 October 2020.
The amount of aid for each project in each of the years of implementation of the activity will exceed EUR 100 000 (excluding VAT) and the maximum amount that can be granted is EUR 1 million for the totality of the aid.
Interested entities must submit an application for each of the projects for which the aid is requested, the aim of which is to promote the acquisition and updating of the latest generation of R&D&I infrastructures, equipment and technologies, enabling the development of research activities of excellence.
It is important to point out that the projects must fit into one of the priority development axes of the Intelligent Specialisation Strategy for Research and Innovation in Valencia (RIS3-CV) and contribute to the performance of one or more of its specific objectives.
Applications, competition and compatibility of aid
The deadline for submission of the application is 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of the call in the'Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana'.
